The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Account Manager to join our thriving medical communications team. This is a pivotal role on a high-priority, 360 degree account that spans both medical education and broader brand & marketing communications. Due to continued growth and significant activity, you'll step into a fast‑paced environment with a diverse range of projects and substantial future potential.

What You’ll Do
  • Project Leadership: Lead the delivery of diverse medical and commercial communications projects, ensuring they meet strategic objectives, timelines and budgets.
  • Client & Team Coordination: Provide project management support, coordinate internal integrated teams and support account leads in client relationships.
  • Content Oversight: Oversee the content development process, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaboration & Efficiency: Work closely with colleagues across various therapeutic areas to ensure optimal project delivery, alignment and efficiency.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation and supporting client invoicing conversations.
  • Mentorship: Provide ongoing support and training to more junior team members assigned to the account.
What You’ll Bring
  • Dedicated experience already gained within a medical communications / medical education agency
  • An understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the drug development process (pre and post‑launch).
  • Proven project management expertise within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience across a broad range of medical communications project types, consistently delivering to time and budget.
  • In‑depth experience liaising with top‑tier global clinicians and other healthcare professionals, always within permitted guidelines.
  • Expertise in collaborating with diverse pharmaceutical client functions (e.g., Medical Affairs, Marketing, Research and Development, Legal/Regulatory, Procurement).
  • Working knowledge of and strict compliance with key industry guidelines (e.g., ABPI, Sunshine Act, or relevant regional equivalents).
  • In‑depth knowledge of the content development process and pharmaceutical company approval systems (Medical, Legal, Regulatory).
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee financial management of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and client financial discussions.
