Account Coordinator, Trusts, Estates & Appraisals (Temporary - 6months contract)

Why This Role Matters

The Account Coordinator, Trusts, Estates & Appraisals will work directly with a team of two Account Managers and the Head of Trusts, Estates and Appraisals. The role will support the account managers with their execution of appraisals, sale proposals, and consignments of a multi-departmental nature. In addition, this position will support the head of the department with appraisal and consignment queries, scheduling, administration and general department responsibilities.

How You\'ll Make an Impact

  • Assist in facilitating appraisals and proposals (coordinating with typing, helping to proof, copying and binding final appraisals to present to client).

  • Track all aspects of the account manager’s consignments, including but not limited to sending pre-sales, after-sales, and settlement statements to consignors; and fielding client communication for the relevant account managers.

  • Assist in coordinating moves/pick-ups of property (working with support departments to create a stock order and receipt items, notifying the sale departments of property’s arrival, preparing tags, and often times being on-site at the move).

  • Meet regularly with the Head of the Department to coordinate scheduling, formulate meeting agendas, review incoming sale and valuation requests, and assist with presentations.

  • Assist account managers in travel preparations and manage work while they are traveling.

  • As and where appropriate, take on additional responsibilities in support of Account Managers within appraisal and consignment projects, such as greet/visit clients on-site and off-site to support the appraisal and consignment processes.

  • Provide overall general administrative support such as coordinating meetings, processing invoices etc.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or Account Managers.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

  • Internships or work experience in an art setting.

  • Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word Processing and Presentation software, such as Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.

  • Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail.

  • Superior client service skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communication.

  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

  • Ability to learn Christie’s systems including CAMs, COS, JDE, Intranet and Work Day.
