Are you a recent UK based Core Subject graduate with a a previous history of mentoring, tutoring or teaching either English, Mathematics or Science?

Perhaps you’re looking to find a full-time Academic Support Mentor role where you can offer vital academic support to students in the lead up to their GCSEs & A Levels?

i-teachers are currently working with a brilliant secondary academy located in Trafford who are eager to add a hard-working, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Academic Support Mentor to their superb teaching & learning support department in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

Academic Support Mentor – Role Information
  • Providing 1 : 1 & small group academic support to Year 10 & 11 students
  • Focusing on current curriculum topics and academic weak points
  • Conducting engaging and inspiring learning support sessions
  • Paid £475 per week during term time only
  • Monday to Friday role with 08.30am – 15.30pm working hours
  • FREE online CPD courses : SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
  • April 2025 – July 2025 contracted role
Academic Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements
  • Minimum 2 : 1 UK based Core Subject degree
  • Prior experience mentoring, tutoring or teaching required
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about the development of children and young people
  • NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
