A forward-thinking educational institution in Greater London is seeking an Academic Skills Tutor to enhance students' academic capabilities across various programs. Responsibilities include delivering workshops, monitoring student engagement, and contributing to innovative skills programs. The ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate degree and a teaching qualification, with strong digital literacy and empathy for diverse student populations. <>Salary: £41,220 - £47,728 per annum
London weighting: £4,000 per annum

Hours per week: 37
Hours are 2pm to 10pm 5 days a week, you will be required to work 1 Saturday in 4 from 9am to 5pm*
Reporting into: Senior Academic Skills Tutor
Department: Library and Learning Success Hub
This role will be based at our Stratford Campus, although will be required on occasion to cover at our other London Campuses (Ealing and Holborn)
This role will require a presence of at least 4 days a week on campus, with 1 day working from home. You may be required to be on campus 5 days a week in some cases, based on teaching, student timetables and meeting requirements.

Our Library and Learning Success Hub is a dynamic, 24/7 support service designed to help students thrive academically and achieve their goals. We have a Digital Library service, and provide academic skills support, and resources for students studying in English as an additional language.
Our Academic Skills Tutors (ASTs) are specialists who support students on all programmes and across all levels in the development of good academic skills. They are responsible for delivering a high‑quality student experience, and monitoring the engagement and performance of students in their work with the Academic Skills Team.
* You will have a day off in the week when you work on a Saturday
** You will need to work up to 4 days a week on campus to suit the student timetable
