Job summary

A global asset management firm is looking for a Secured Credit - ABS Research Analyst to join their Investments team in London. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in asset management and be working towards or have obtained an IMC or CFA qualification. Responsibilities include analyzing sectors and presenting suggestions to portfolio managers. This role is permanent and suited for proactive individuals with strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience within the asset management sector.
• Currently working towards or have gained an IMC or CFA qualification.
• Experience using data platforms, such as Bloomberg.
• Good understanding of financial modelling.
• Proactive and well-organised individual with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake analysis of specific sectors and securities.
• Participate in and share insights from meetings with various companies and third parties.
• Use research findings to present new ideas and buy/sell suggestions to portfolio managers.
• Responsible for fulfilling portfolio manager duties when they are out of the office.
• Support other teams by assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks.
