Overview

Location: Warwick

NEW RATE and position details for a 7.5 T Driver based in Warwick. The role is a temporary assignment with a 12-week period, Monday to Friday, starting in September and running until Christmas. Commute options include Daventry, Brackley, Banbury and surrounding areas.

Rates and shifts

• Shifts and hours: Monday to Friday, start times 05:00 am, minimum 10 hours guaranteed per shift.
• Rates of pay: Monday to Friday – £17.37 inclusive of holiday pay (PAYE only).

The Role

• 7.5 T Driver responsibilities include handling handball tasks, pushing trolleys, and potential multi-drop runs (up to 10 drops per shift).
• Complete vehicle checks and relevant defects paperwork as required.
• On-site training will be provided; role requires confidence in performing checks and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a clean and well-maintained vehicle condition.
• Deliver to client sites while maintaining professional customer service and communication.

Requirements

• Clean Full UK Driving Licence.
• Valid CPC and Tachograph.
• Previous HGV experience is preferred but not essential.
• Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service and communication skills.
