Job summary

A leading environmental services company in Northampton is seeking a driver to operate cleansing vehicles. You'll play an essential role in collecting public litter, managing traffic, and ensuring vehicle compliance. Qualifications

  • Current 7.5T licence and CPC/Digi card required.

Responsibilities

  • Driving and operating a cleansing vehicle.
  • Collecting public litter bins and assisting with litter picking.
  • Reporting any incidents such as fly-tipping or graffiti.
  • Ensuring vehicle cleanliness and adhering to paperwork.
  • Reporting accidents to depot management.

Salary: £26,974.58 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 06:00-14:30 including an unpaid 30 min break

Location: Northampton

Weekend overtime available!

What you'll be doing
  • Driving and operating a cleansing vehicle
  • Collecting public litter bins, assisting with litter picking and traffic management
  • Reporting any fly-tipping, graffiti, fly posting or damaged/missing litter bins to the depot
  • Ensuring vehicle is tipped, washed and the cab is left clear of litter, uniform and personal items at the end of your shift
  • Accurately complete paperwork
  • Report any accidents to depot management
