A healthcare provider in Barnsley is looking for a band 6 Clinical Educator to lead educational initiatives in Gynaecology. You will coordinate and deliver training for nursing staff to enhance patient care. Ideal candidates will have extensive Gynaecology experience and a teaching qualification. We are excited to announce an excitingopportunity for a band 6 Clinical Educator to join the current team inGynaecology.
In collaboration with the Lead Nurse, youwill coordinate, plan and deliver inpatient and outpatient Gynaecology careeducation programmes and initiatives to the unit. The post holder willfacilitate the development of clinical staff in the assessment and safedelivery of care for all patients, ensuring safe methods of practice aremaintained throughout the team. The post holder will be able to act as aneffective clinical leader and role model to enhance the clinical competence andimprove the fundamentals of care within the Gynaecology inpatient andoutpatient setting.
In conjunction with the education team, youwill develop, deliver and evaluate educational programmes for new and existingnursing staff and nursing assistants within Gynaecology care. The post holderwill be integral in the promotion of an environment that encourages learningand sustains the personal and professional development of staff. Incollaboration with the Lead Nurse, you will coordinate the supervisionassessment and development of clinical skills of the nursing team
