3-4 day week Nanny/housekeeper required in Kidlington Oxfordshire 866722

This busy professional family are looking for an experienced sole charge Nanny/Housekeeper to help run their busy large home in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. They have a son aged 14 and daughter aged 12 years old, and the son has nut and sesame allergies so they will train the nanny to use an EpiPen. They are looking for a nanny/housekeeper and dog walker for 3-4 days a week Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and some Saturdays (about 7 a year with lots of notice as Mum needs assistance when Dad is away travelling with drop offs as one child does rowing/rugby and the other padel at the same time).

Monday - housekeeping, dog walking (puppy), ironing, washing, errands, bed changing, cleaning, food prep 9-5pm; Tuesday - same again 9-5pm. Occasional additional hours to pick up children from school bus at 6pm when Mum is out with work events. Wednesday – 9am-8pm pick up children at 5:20pm and 6pm, prepare dinner, until 8pm. Thursday - OFF DAY; Friday - OFF DAY.

They are also looking for dog sitting if they are away, and dog can’t join them. During holidays, the right person needs to enjoy working with young people and engaging with them and boundary setting when needed. An excellent salary is offered with this job, £20-£25 gross an hour for the right person (28,080-£35,100 based on the 3 days a week).   • About 7 Saturdays a year, with notice
  • Thursday & Friday off
Requirements
  • Minimum Experience Level: 2+ years working with children of the same age
  • Training and Qualifications: Childcare qualifications not essential
  • Driver: Yes
  • Pet: One friendly puppy
  • Must have up-to-date DBS on the update service and a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain it
  • Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of which must be your current or last employer that are immediately contactable
Compensation

Pay: £20-£25 gross an hour (28,080-£35,100 based on the 3 days a week)
