Overview

2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator

Pay: $20-23

Shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm (Mon - Fri)

Description

A successful candidate should have experience as a machine operator in the manufacturing space with overhead crane experience.

Requirements

• Prior Experience Operating Overhead Cranes
• Prior machine operating experience on any of the following: CNC Laser, CNC Beam Line, saws, presses, punch press, drill press
• Experience with structural steel
• Ability to read Blueprints and conduct basic math
• Experience reading a tape measure down to 1/32nd of an inch
• Must be flexible to work including overtime and Saturdays as needed (rarely working Saturdays)

Hiring Manager Notes

• Must have strong experience with structural steel being able to read prints, mathematics , and overhead crane experience as well. This is for the individual that prefers 2nd shift , not someone to just take a position to get in the door , I will also look at someone with structural steel supervisory experience as well
• The machines are called drill lines they saw/drill structural steel, they don't have to have exact experience on these machines we can train , but they need to have experience fitting up the steel and completely understand what they are looking at , with overhead crane ex. As well. If we have a drop in guy that has ran these machines, I will find out what he knows and go from there on a wage, to start, if we have to train then looking at approximately 22-23 to start. And it all depends on the individual.
