A recruitment agency is seeking a 2nd Line Security Analyst in Bath. The role involves incident response and threat remediation in a hybrid working environment. Ideal candidates should hold Cyber Essentials and/or CompTIA Security+ accreditations, have similar experience, and be located near Bath for on-site requirements. The company has been undergoing a massive global business change and transformation project and is now focusing on its Cyber Security Teams, expanding globally.
In this role you will serve as an escalation point for the 1st Line Team, dealing with Incident Response, containment, and remediation of threats such as malware, phishing, and unauthorized access. You will also escalated issues to third line where applicable, and work to Cyber Essentials and CompTIA Security+ standards.
The ideal candidate will hold a Cyber Essentials accreditation and have experience in a similar position. Candidates holding a CompTIA Security+ accreditation are also encouraged to apply. Candidates must be located in and around the Bath area as on‑site working will be required and must have full right to work in the UK.
