A healthcare organization in Edinburgh is seeking a full-time Senior Research Nurse to support the Oncology Research Team. The ideal candidate will manage patient care in clinical trials, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and must have clinical research experience. Candidates should be degree educated and possess excellent interpersonal skills. This role is pivotal within the Scottish Cancer Research Network and involves some travel.

AFC Band 6 • Base: SE Scottish Cancer Research Network, Department of Oncology, Western General Hospital, Edinburgh
Applications are invited for a full time research nurse to support the Oncology Research Team within the Scottish Cancer Research Network.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated nurse with experience in a related specialty who would like the opportunity to work within the Scottish Cancer Research Network. You should ideally have experience in clinical research and be educated to degree level (or working towards). The post holder should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of the research process including ICH/GCP guidelines, and evidence of continuous personal, professional and academic development. Attention to detail is essential and IT skills would be advantageous. You must be able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to an ever-changing working environment.
This is an exposure prone post.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
