Part time: 17.5 hours per week.
Fixed‑term: 6 months.
The Student Analytics, Insights, and Modelling team is seeking a Project Officer to support the development of our new Student Voice Framework. At the University of Edinburgh, we aim to work in partnership with students with the shared goal of improving the student experience. The Student Voice Framework Project is bringing together best practice from across the University and the wider sector to ensure students have clarity and consistency over where to direct their feedback, and visibility of what action is taken as a result.
This role will support all aspects of the Framework, developing initiatives, policy, and guidance on everything from student‑staff liaison committees to course evaluation to informal dialogue between students and staff. We are seeking someone with knowledge from student experience or student voice‑related roles, and who can combine this with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across the University and work autonomously to deliver on the goals of the project.
This role is 0.5 FTE, fixed term for 6 months. Tuesday is a core in‑office day for the team, but the other time can be flexible. Other arrangements will be considered. Note: this role may be taken as either a part‑time fixed‑term position, or a part‑time internal secondment for a current member of University staff (with agreement from the applicant’s current department.)
