11205 28 hour - Trainee Pharmacy Assistant – Permanent Contract

We are looking to recruit a 28-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 484‑branch located at 68 Brook Road, Trowbridge, BA14 9DL.

Shift Pattern
  • Tuesday 10:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Wednesday 10:00-17:30 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
  • Thursday 10:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Friday 10:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)

Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.

This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience and who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
  • Assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
  • Ensuring high standard of service for customers as part of a well-established team.
  • Maintaining utmost attention to detail, working under pressure and strict deadlines.
  • Desire to learn and progress your career in our business.
