Overview

10891 - We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a 12-month fixed term contract at our 040 branch at 102 Ashton Road, Denton, Manchester, M34 3JE.

Opening hours for our branch are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to work within these branch opening times, who has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes promptly and conscientiously.
• Provide a high standard of customer service and represent the Cohens brand in a friendly, professional manner.
• Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within the designated timeframe.
• Ensure delivered prescription items comply with the company’s regulated procedures (attention to detail).
• Plan and print daily routes in branch before departures (basic computer skills required).
• Assist with PR exercises to increase business (if required).

Requirements / Qualifications

• Own vehicle required; personal insurance must allow business use. Check with insurer prior to interview. Business insurance covers only vehicle, not contents. The Company will contribute to the increased premium upon receipt of documentation.
• Great people skills; ability to work as part of a well-established team and deliver high-quality service.
• Willingness to work flexible hours within branch opening times.
