A New Path in Teaching – Tuition Roles in M9 (Harpurhey / Blackley)

We are looking for qualified teachers to deliver 1:1 and small group tuition in the M9 area of Manchester, including Harpurhey and Blackley. This role offers the chance to continue using your teaching skills in a more flexible, focused, and rewarding way – without the pressures of a full classroom.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group tuition in the M9 area (Harpurhey and Blackley).
  • Tailor teaching to each learner’s individual needs, including pupils who may be out of mainstream education due to SEND, SEMH, medical needs or anxiety.
  • Rebuild confidence and close learning gaps, with the goal of helping pupils thrive on a one-to-one basis.
  • Work in homes or local community settings, delivering sessions face-to-face.
  • Use your subject knowledge to support learners flexibly within school-day hours.
Qualifications
  • Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
  • Experience or suitability for work with pupils who may be out of mainstream education is desirable.
