1:1 SEMH Support Assistant – Primary School

Location: Sunderland
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

We’re seeking a 1:1 SEMH Support Assistant to work closely with an individual pupil who benefits from consistent, personalised support.

You’ll help the pupil feel safe, understood and supported throughout the school day, supporting both emotional wellbeing and learning.

Your role will include:

  • Providing dedicated 1:1 SEMH support
  • Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
  • Helping the pupil engage with learning
  • Encouraging independence and confidence
  • Working closely with teaching and SEN staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
