A leading sporting goods company based in Annecy is seeking a Sourcing Sustainability Specialist to implement responsible sourcing practices across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in sustainability programs and knowledge of supplier auditing solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing supplier performance, supporting the onboarding processes, and collaborating with purchasing teams. This role offers a permanent contract in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in implementing sustainability programs.
  • Technical knowledge of corporate sustainability, focusing on environmental and social aspects.
  • Experience with supplier sustainability auditing and rating solutions.

Job Description

Driven by sustainable procurement, you aim to implement responsible sourcing practices that reduce supplier risks while generating positive impacts on people and the environment across the supply chain. Your structured approach and strong sense of accountability position you as a key contributor to long‑term, responsible performance.

We are offering the opportunity to join our team as a Sourcing Sustainability Specialist (W/M), a strategic role at the heart of ethical, social, and environmental challenges within our supply chain.

Supplier sustainability evaluation and performance
  • Analyze supplier sustainability risk assessment results to define supplier evaluation strategies
  • Provide support for the onboarding of buyers and suppliers in the supplier sustainability evaluation process
  • Review supplier sustainability assessments and monitor compliance with the Amer Sports Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Monitor suppliers’ alignment with Group/brand sustainability targets (e.g. SBTi targets)
  • Monitor the implementation of improvement actions on human and labor rights topics (e.g. health and safety, discrimination, harassment, working conditions), as well as environmental topics (e.g. energy and greenhouse gas emissions, waste, chemicals)
  • Provide regular reporting on supplier sustainability performance
Transversal projects

Provide support in continuous improvement and transversal projects (e.g. benchmarks on best practices, creation of policies/guidelines)

Collaboration
  • Work with purchasing and sustainability teams to promote responsible purchasing practices and drive suppliers’ sustainability performance towards Amer Sports targets.
  • Provide support/training to the purchasing teams on sustainability related topics
Your profile
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in implementing sustainability programs, preferably with a focus on sustainable procurement and/or sustainable supply chains.
  • Technical knowledge of corporate sustainability, on both environmental and social pillars.
  • Experience with supplier sustainability auditing and rating solutions (EcoVadis, SEDEX, AMFORI, HIGG, etc.)
  • Knowledge of international standards, guidelines and regulations on sustainability due diligence (UN Guiding Principles, ILO Standards, CSDDD, ISO 20400, etc.)
  • Experience working in an international & multicultural context.
