This position will be based in the Dunkirk office to assist with the Gigafactory construction plan and future operations management. The person holding this position will be assigned project tasks by his direct supervisor to assist the company in facilitating related projects for the construction of the factory in France. He will be responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of the project, ensuring that all stages from design, contracting to commencement can be smoothly implemented. This position requires not only project management capabilities, but also cross-departmental collaboration, external communication and internal coordination capabilities. The person must be fluent in Chinese, English and French, conduct multilingual communication and translation work, and promote seamless collaboration between the teams in Taiwan and France.

This position requires the Director of the European Manufacturing Center to serve as a liaison between the company and local governments and local organizations, actively establish and maintain good public relations, and promote the shaping of the company's image and the implementation of corporate social responsibility. Internally, he / she plays the role of core cross-departmental coordination, working closely with internal departments such as finance, legal affairs, procurement, and auditing to ensure that all project resources are reasonably allocated, administrative processes are smooth, and various problems encountered during the actual implementation process are resolved. The communication skills required for this position include professional technical details, as well as handling tedious administrative and paperwork, coordinating teams with different cultural and language backgrounds, acting as a bridge between Taiwan and France, ensuring smooth information flow between departments, and always being prepared to resolve any issues that may affect the progress and quality of the project, ultimately ensuring the smooth completion of the project and achieving the predetermined goals.

Main responsibilities
  • Implementing the French factory construction plan and facilitating the regulatory process, assisting in the whole project management from factory construction design, contract award to construction commencement, and working with external partners to ensure that the project progress and quality meet the expected goals.
  • Collaborating across departments and working closely with finance, legal, procurement, audit and other units to handle official memos and administrative processes to ensure reasonable resource allocation and effective progress monitoring.
  • External communication : being the main contact window with external government agencies and local organizations, maintaining good relations between the company and the local government, and assisting in participating in local community activities to enhance the company's brand image.
  • Professional language support : using the ability of Chinese, English and French to perform bilingual interpretation and translation work, assisting multinational team communication and document processing, and ensuring accurate flow of information.
  • Project supervision and risk management : understanding the French industrial environment, controlling the risks in the project execution process, discovering and solving problems in a timely manner, and ensuring the smooth progress of the project. Being responsible for the coordination and cooperation between the Taiwan and French teams to ensure that both sides have consistent goals, smooth communication, and achieve efficient execution.
  • Stakeholders management and collaboration : being responsible for establishing a stable collaborative relationship with stakeholders, maintaining regular review and communication in order to ensure that all requirements in the construction process can be successfully completed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or above with preferred majors in economics or management, etc.
  • Fluent in Chinese, English and French, being able of performing professional interpretation and translation works.
  • More than 7 years of experience in multinational companies or project management, with overseas assignment experience, and experience in project management, international cooperation or related fields is preferred.
  • Good project management, cross-departmental coordination and problem-solving capabilities, proficient communication skills and cross-cultural cooperation experience.
  • Being familiar with French administrative procedures and the political and economic landscape of Europe, understanding the customs and habits of the French people, and assisting the expatriate team to integrate into local life.
  • Organizational and time management skills, being able to maintain efficient execution in a multi-tasking environment, having a high sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit.
