About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team in Sophia Antipolis. As an integral member of the Engineering team and working closely with the Product team, you’ll be responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining our frontend architecture and the codebase.

• Lexical for rich text
• Vite, ESLint, Prettier, Husky/lint-staged
• Sentry for monitoring

You will:

• Design, build and maintain a scalable frontend for the iLex electronic market & trading platform
• Develop user facing frontend features that include trading workflows, smart analytics and dashboards using React ecosystem
• Translate wireframes into a high-quality reusable component library to create business value and enhance user experience
• Ship enhancements and fix bugs across an existing codebase
• Build data-heavy views: tables, grouping, filtering, dashboards
• Capture platform activity data and develop platform monitoring tools to adapt features to user behaviours
• Integrate with multiple backend services and APIs
• Add and maintain automated UI tests (e.g., Cypress)

What we look for:

Must haves:

• 8+ years building modern web apps with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, CSS, HTML5, DOM
• Strong grasp of React fundamentals (hooks, state, rendering, composition)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • State management (Redux; thunks or similar async patterns)
  • Styling (Material UI, styled-components, or Sass)
  • RESTful APIs and Axios/fetch
  • Git/GitHub workflows
• Comfortable owning features end to end: design handoff, implementation, testing, and iteration

Nice to have:

• Experience with complex data grids or enterprise tables (e.g., AG Grid)
• SSR experience (Next.js) and performance tuning
• Data visualization experience (D3 or similar)
• Familiarity with rich text editors (e.g., Lexical)
• Interest in container platforms (Kubernetes)
• Cloud experience (AWS)
• Exposure to monitoring/observability and error tracking
