A specialist ingredients group is seeking a Sales Director in Nice, France. This leadership role involves developing sales strategies and managing a large sales team to drive growth in the Animal/Pet Ingredients division. Candidates must have proven experience in B2B Food Ingredients and demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills. The position is integral to executing their 5-year commercial strategy and requires effective collaboration with marketing and other stakeholders.

QLM Search is partnering a specialist ingredients group that is looking to appoint a Sales Director. Reporting to the Business Unit CEO Sales and forming part of a the leadership team, the role will be instrumental in delivering their 5 year commercial strategy in this specialist Animal/Pet Ingredients division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective Ingredient category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and product launches.

Candidates MUST have proven experience as a Sales Director within the B2B Food Ingredients (Animal/Pet Nutrition industry an advantage) and will have excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a large team (10+). You need strong knowledge of category management strategies across Ingredients with a track record of driving growth through effective implementation
