As the Head of the Quality Department, you will play a central role in managing the site’s performance. You will be involved in strategic decisions, including budget forecasts, monitoring key indicators (quality, cost, delay), and the progress of industrial and development projects.

Your main mission is to ensure the alignment of the entity's processes with Safran standards to achieve a single certification in the short term, while guaranteeing the quality of products and services provided. Collaborating with operational managers, you will work on continuous improvement projects, implementing initiatives to optimize process efficiency, leveraging best practices from the group and cross-functional teams to meet our ambitions.

Your scope of responsibility includes about twelve team members across two areas:

  • Quality System: Ensuring the integration and maintenance of certifications and approvals (EN 9100, PART 21G, PART 145) with Safran Aerosystems, and acting as the primary contact for authorities and surveillance bodies (EASA, OSAC, LRQA, IAQG). Ensuring compliance with upcoming regulatory changes (PART IS, EMAR, etc.).
  • Product Quality: Managing two teams responsible for quality assurance for civil and military markets. Ensuring product compliance, analyzing impacts of non-conformities, and leading resolution actions. Teams oversee quality during development and serial production phases.
Job Requirements

Engineering degree with significant experience in small to medium series manufacturing in demanding quality environments, with good knowledge of EN9100 or equivalent standards (automotive, pharmaceutical). Recognized leadership skills, ability to develop team skills, solid quality methods knowledge (Problem Solving, Audits, APQP). Pragmatic approach balancing compliance and operationality.
