A leading logistics company is seeking an Internal IT SAP FIT Finance Project Lead based in Marlenheim, France. As part of its Odyssey digital initiative, Geodis has launched an ambitious project named Finance Transformation (FIT) to replace its existing heterogeneous solutions with a Finance and P2P core model based on S/4HANA Cloud private edition and Coupa solutions for the entire Group. This core model will cover the Record to Report (R2R), Controlling, Order to Cash (O2C) and Source to Pay (S2P) processes, and will interface with the Group's operational tools. This multi-year project included the creation of a core model and the deployment of a pilot in 2024-2025, followed by roll-out in waves from 2026 onwards.

The Internal IT SAP FIT Finance Project lead will have four main tasks :
Main responsibilities for the position :
Masters degree (BAC+5) in IT with minimum 15 years' experience in SAP Finance maintenance and projects in an international context with excellent expertise of the FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP and IM modules
The internal Project lead will need to have a good experience of business project assistance. He/she will need to be able to work in a collaborative environment with the Finance team and other teams in the D&T Direction. He/she will be able to organize activity of a team, defining priorities and manage peak of activities. He/she will be able to report appropriately to his/her management and will be able to challenge requests while at the same time being able to make proposals. The size of the team means that he/she will need to be flexible and able to work autonomously to develop your skills in new tools.
