The main missions of this position are:
Home office
- Manage a team of O&M Engineers and oversee their performance based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Provide support for Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC projects by formulating the O&M Engineering scope.
- Ensure that the installations are easily operable and exploitable with complete safety and profitability, starting from the project phase.
- Deliver optimal execution plans for initial operation activities to our clients.
- Develop innovative methodologies to minimize Operational Expenditures (Opex) and maintain plant integrity.
- Contribute to the advancement of O&M methods.
Support O&M Engineering scope of work for future EPC projects, including schedule development, resource mobilization, and system deployment
- Develop Operations Readiness program
- Participate in RAM studies
- Contribute to operability and maintainability studies
- Conduct Life Cycle Study
- Lead subcontractors in developing maintenance system
- Interface with corrosion department to develop inspection system
- Create Asset Integrity System
- Prepare shutdown plan
- Develop typical lifting programs
- Create training program and Competency Assessment system
- Enhance hiring system to mobilize future operations resources
- Contribute to development of digital tools
- Ensure training books and programs are properly prepared according to EPC SoW
- Ensure subcontractors create O&M Manuals correctly
Execution
- Management of the Operation and Maintenance execution, including team mobilization, training, and overseeing normal operation execution.
O&M EXECUTION
- Transfer the O&M scope to execution.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements.
- Assist in hiring ops team and provide comprehensive induction.
- Manage EPC for Operation Management System deployment.
- Lead O&M scope during EPC, including training and readiness.
- Achieve facility for efficient and safe activities.
- Follow up and ensure interface with subcontractor for O&M Manuals.
- Monitor consumables and materials for interim period.
- Play a key role in emergency response leadership and work management.
Qualification
- Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Eng. degree, or Higher National Certificate in Engineering or trade background (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) or extensive operations experience.
Experience
15 years’ combined experience in Oil and Gas Operations and projects, including:
- Ideally, previous experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, specifically with LNG, as well as in the new energies industry, such as hydrogen, in a similar or relevant position.
- The candidate must hold a recognized Technical qualification for the Position.
- The candidate should have confirmed experience and knowledge to efficiently and safely carry out Start-Up and performance testing activities.
- Strong command of spoken and written English is a requirement.
- A candidate with an Engineering degree and experience in the fields of operation & maintenance is preferable.
- The candidate should have recognized business expertise.
- Practical experience in operations of a facility plant, as well as the management and leadership skills to control the work activities and daily operations of the facilities, is necessary.
- Demonstrated understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control required for the petroleum industry is preferred.
- High level of self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work within a multi-discipline integrated project team are desirable qualities in a candidate.
