Employer: MR Kitchens – A custom kitchen cabinet manufacturer with 3 showrooms in the Ottawa region in business since 1986. Shop is located in Vars - 15 minutes east of Ottawa - 20 minutes south of Orleans.

Job Description:

• Operate & maintain an automatic edge-banding machine according to appropriate operating procedures
• Organize work load to follow production schedule for each day
• Sort, organize & prepare parts for edge-banding
• Maintain inventory of needed edge banding and inform team lead before stock is too low
• Inspecting finished work to ensure its quality & accuracy
• Flagging product quality concern issues with team lead so they can be properly addressed
• Assisting with various stages of the production of custom cabinet millwork as needed
• Maintain & clean work area

Required Knowledge & Expertise:

• Experience operating automatic edge-banding equipment
• Kitchen cabinetry or carpentry background
• Valid driver's licence & vehicle to get to work - no bus service

Salary: Full time, permanent, Range $37,500 - $42,000 / year
