Description du poste

Founded in 2020 and based in the heart of Paris, C12’s mission is to be at the center of one of the biggest technological breakthroughs of the century and change the course of history by building a universal quantum computer.

At C12 we believe that achieving a true breakthrough in quantum computing requires rethinking the fundamentals. That’s why our founders, deeply rooted in academic and engineering excellence, have chosen carbon nanotubes as the building blocks of our quantum processors. This ultra‑pure material dramatically reduces error rates, boosts performance, and minimises hardware overhead – key ingredients for scalable fault‑tolerant quantum computing. By crafting a unique approach that scales, we aim to revolutionise quantum computing just as silicon transformed classical computing.

Since our founding, we’ve raised over 25 million in funding, published 11 scientific papers and secured 8 patents. Today our fast‑growing team of 60 – including 20 PhDs – has over 20 nationalities represented. We have our own cutting‑edge lab space in Paris’s historic Panthéon district where scientists, engineers and innovators work side‑by‑side to tackle some of the most exciting technical challenges of our time.

Your role at C12 Quantum Electronics

As IT Manager you will take full ownership of our IT infrastructure security posture and support processes as we continue to scale. You will be responsible for the entire IT operations at C12, including infrastructure security compliance, device fleet management, network administration, onboarding / off‑boarding, and user support. You will also ensure that our systems remain secure, efficient, and aligned with best practices while helping build a world‑class IT environment for a deep‑tech company.

Your responsibilities will include :
  • Ordering, deploying, configuring and preparing new machines during onboarding; and securely wiping and reassigning devices during off‑boarding.
  • Managing and maintaining company computers (Windows & macOS) while ensuring all devices comply with internal security and configuration policies.
  • Overseeing centralised device management using Intune (Windows) and Kandji (Mac).
  • Managing Bitdefender GravityZone (EDR / XDR) policies, alerts, reporting and compliance.
  • Managing network devices, access controls, firewalls, VLANs and monitoring tools.
  • Contributing to cybersecurity initiatives, risk mitigation and incident response in collaboration with our cybersecurity engineer.
  • Managing user accounts and access rights across company SaaS tools such as Microsoft 365 and Dashlane.
  • Managing support requests following ITIL best practices – categorisation, prioritisation, and escalation.
  • Overseeing the IT aspect of employee onboarding to facilitate a swift and seamless integration.
  • Developing guides, processes and documentation for recurring IT procedures.
  • Organising training sessions on new tools, security hygiene and best practices.
About you :
  • You have 5 years of experience in IT management, system administration or similar roles.
  • You have strong knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux environments.
  • You have expertise in centralised device management such as Intune MDMs.
  • You are proficient with Google Workspace SaaS applications, SSO and identity management.
  • You have a good understanding of Active Directory domain functionality and user administration.
  • You have a strong grasp of network protocols, network administration and segmentation.
  • You have strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • You are fluent in English and French.
  • Previous experience in a high‑security or research‑driven environment is considered an advantage.
