ROLE

ROLE: Within the Agency's commercial team, you are responsible for a remote client portfolio in order to meet the Group's commercial objectives. You are in charge of the acquisition, development, retention and traffic management of these customers, and you sell all the products and services of the CMA CGM Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • In this context, you manage a portfolio of repeat clients remotely in a given geographical area and according to a commercial segmentation defined by the Management. You regularly organise your customer contacts according to the objectives set by the Sales Department.
  • You may be required to remotely prospect new customers, develop new traffic, identify market opportunities and monitor them.
  • Thus, you promote and sell all the products and services of the CMA CGM Group maritime or not (e-commerce, value-added service (VAS), intermodal, logistics, air, etc.) in compliance with their pricing policy.
  • You fill in the Customer information in the CRM tool and ensure that it is updated.
  • Together with Management, you ensure the quality of customer segmentation.
  • In addition, you plan your commercial actions in the context of achieving your objectives defined in the budget.
  • You relay the customer quotation requests to the sales associates and relay to the Customer Service the requests concerning the operational monitoring.
  • You provide the necessary information (market, rates, competition, regulation, trends, etc.) to the lines, trade managers or/and the Sales Department.
  • You also track client collections in your portfolio in coordination with the financial department.
  • Finally, you ensure compliance with the company’s Quality, Safety and Security procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • You have a postgraduate degree (+4/5 years) in International Trade or Transport/Logistics, and you ideally have an experience of at least one year in the same position. You have good command of IT and Office tools and you speak French and English fluently.
  • Your interpersonal and your negotiation skills will be essential to communicate efficiently with your numerous contacts. Your self-sufficiency, your organization skills, your rigor, reactivity and proactivity will allow you to perform successfully in this position.
