A pioneering cosmetics company seeks a Toxicology Lead in Paris to manage a team and oversee animal-free safety assessments. Responsibilities include overseeing operations, providing scientific guidance on new products, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant Master's or PhD, possess strong leadership and communication skills, and have a deep commitment to ethical science and safety assessments. This is a 12-month maternity cover position, offering a bonus scheme and employee discounts.

Qualifications

  • Strong passion for in vitro toxicology and a deep understanding of non-animal testing methodologies.
  • Experience leading toxicology teams, managing complex projects, and coordinating research activities in an animal-free testing environment.

Responsabilités

  • Oversee daily operations, run team meetings, recruit and onboard new members.
  • Provide guidance to the Chemical Analyst.
  • Collaborate with Directors and product developers on new products.
  • Evaluate complex and unconventional products for compliance.
  • Oversee the testing budget and coordinate in vitro testing.
  • Support studies on ingredient safety and review results.
