A technology services company is seeking an experienced Application Maintenance Engineer to manage third-party application maintenance of HPC and scientific applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in programming languages such as Fortran, C/C++, and Python. This permanent position is based in Paris or the Benelux region, offering opportunities for evolution toward Technical Lead roles and continuous training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application maintenance.
• Significant experience with legacy code and refactoring.
• Mastery of scientific programming languages required.

Responsabilités

• Handle third-party application maintenance of HPC.
• Refactor and modernize scientific applications.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support.

Connaissances

Application maintenance experience

Mastery of Fortran

Mastery of C/C++

Experience in Python

Knowledge of HPC environments

Version control tools (Git, GitLab, GitHub)

Formation

Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent
