As a nurse-led organisation, Contact Care delivers both complex and personal care to clients in the community. We are currently seeking Healthcare Assistants to support clients in the Swords, Malahide, and Howth areas.

Who You Are

• Caring, dependable, and passionate about helping others
• Currently completing QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or equivalent
• Completed Care Skills and Care of the Older Person modules
• Hold a valid People Moving & Handling Certificate
• Conversational or fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Able to provide work and character references
• Willing to complete Garda Vetting (fee reimbursed)
• Prior home care or healthcare experience is an advantage, but not required

What You’ll Do

• Provide personal and social care in clients’ homes
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and companionship
• Promote client independence, dignity, and emotional well-being
• Record care notes accurately and report changes in condition
• Follow individual care plans and adhere to infection prevention protocols
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and the wider care team
