A fast-growing trading firm is seeking a Country Head for France to lead client relationships and drive expansion in the French market. The role, which is remote-based with regular travel to Paris, requires over 8 years of experience in client relationship management within trading contexts. About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing trading and technology firm with an established presence across major European financial hubs, the company partners with brokers, liquidity providers, and financial institutions to deliver innovative solutions that simplify access to best execution across equities and ETFs.

The Role

The Country Head, France will play a key role in expanding the firm’s footprint across the French market. This person will build and strengthen relationships with existing clients, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure clients receive exceptional service and value.

Acting as the primary point of contact for French partners and clients, the successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on commercial approach - driving engagement, retention, and expansion. Collaboration with international teams across Europe will be central to the role, alongside regular client meetings and participation in industry events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commercial and client relationship strategy for France
  • Manage and grow existing relationships with brokers, trading firms, and institutional clients
  • Ensure outstanding client satisfaction and engagement
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for increased client activityMaintain a deep understanding of the French market structure and local trading ecosystem
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights into market trends and the firm’s product developments
  • Coordinate internally across product, technology, and operations teams to deliver client-focused solutions
  • Represent the firm at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback on regulatory and competitive developments
Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in client relationship management, account management, or execution roles within exchanges, brokerage, or trading technology environments
  • Strong understanding of the French equities and ETF market structure
  • Established network within the French brokerage and financial services community
  • Proven ability to develop and retain client relationships in a competitive landscape
  • Commercially savvy with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in French and English (native French not required)
  • Self‑driven, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Location

Remote (France-based), with regular travel to Paris and other client locations.
