A global battery technology company in Douai is looking for a finance controller to join its team. This role involves managing Capex requests, budget visibility, and project delivery for a new innovative manufacturing Gigafactory. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance/Accounting, and have at least 3 years of experience, including 2 years in a controlling role. Fluency in French and English is essential. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years controlling experience.
• Experience managing complex assets in a company is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Understand plant Capex requests and support validation process.
• Build Capex budget visibility with project director.
• Monitor project delivery status for effective budget control.
• Manage fixed assets and spare parts recognition.
• Transfer CIP to fixed assets through accounting.
• Assist in setting up IT system for asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Deeply understand the plant Capex request from business and accompany business to go through validation process
• Build up Capex budget visibility together with project director
• Monitor project delivery status to ensure effective budget control
• Responsible for fix assets and spare parts recognition, counting, depreciation and disposal
• Work from accounting to transfer CIP to fix asset
• Help business set up IT system for asset management

Experience and skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting. CMA/CPA preferred
• 3 + years of experience in finance and accounting area, with at least 2 years controlling experience
• Experience to master complex asset in a company is strongly preferred
• Fluent in French and English.
• You will be results driven with analytical capability and the ability to innovate and simplify current process and practices.
• You are a team player and enjoy working in an international environment.
