Qualifications

• Diplôme Bachelor ou Master en Informatique, Ingénierie logicielle ou domaine similaire.
• 6+ années d'expérience dans un rôle d'Ingénieur DevOps.
• Compétences en administration des systèmes, réseaux ou bases de données.

Responsabilités

• Collaborer avec les clients pour installer, configurer et personnaliser les solutions.
• Développer et maintenir des scripts d'installation et des fichiers de configuration.
• Résoudre les déploiements en fonction des configurations matérielles et des réseaux spécifiques aux clients.

About CATIA No Magic : CATIA No Magic is a global solutions provider specializing in dynamic visual insights, enterprise risk mitigation, and the elimination of operational inefficiencies.

We are looking for a Deployment Engineer with strong knowledge of Linux OS administration, who is adept at the development of Model-Based Systems Engineering applications.

This role can be based at one of 3DS's locations in Plano, TX, or headquarters office - Waltham, MA, or Royal Oak, MI, or San Diego, CA.

As a CATIA Magic Collaboration Studio Deployment Engineer, you will :

• Collaborate with customers across the to install, configure, and customize our strategic repository solutions: Collaboration Studio and Teamwork Cloud (TWC).
• Tailor installations to fit complex, heterogeneous environments and provide technical consultation during deployments.
• Support the development team with feedback on usability, performance, and bugs.
• Develop and maintain installation scripts and configuration files.
• Troubleshoot and adapt deployments based on customer-specific hardware and network configurations.
• Assist customers with data migration planning and execution.
• Travel up to 5% within the and Europe.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role; a background in system, network, or database administration is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, with proven experience in external customer-facing roles.

Operating Systems & Scripting :

• Proficiency in Linux (preferably RedHat / CentOS):

o Viewing, editing, and searching configuration / log files

o Package installation and configuration

o File system management (mounting, usage analysis, permissions, ownership)

o Shell scripting (, Bash, csh)

o Managing system services using systemd

Some experience with Windows Server environments.

Databases & Storage :

• In-depth understanding of storage systems.
• Optional: hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra:

o Cluster management

o Data backup and restoration

o Performance tuning

o (DataStax Cassandra Administrator Certification is a plus)

Networking & Security :

• Strong grasp of networking concepts :

o TCP / IP, firewalls, proxy / reverse proxy configuration, load balancing

• Understanding of SSL certificates and encryption principles.
• Experience with container technologies, particularly Docker.

Desirable Skills

• Industry certifications (, Cisco) or formal training in relevant technologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise network topologies, routing, load balancing, and storage systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles.
• Java troubleshooting experience (understanding of heap management and garbage collection; programming knowledge not required).
