A leading energy engineering firm is seeking a Control & Safety System Engineer to contribute to projects in the Oil & Gas sector. Responsibilities include technical specification reviews, control system engineering studies, and managing interfaces. The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of control and safety systems, LNG processes, and relevant industry standards. Strong communication skills in English are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of processes and / or F&G rules encountered in Oil & Gas.
• Work with internal and / or external interfaces.
• Knowledge of LNG processes.

Responsabilités

• Preparation / review of technical specifications (DCS / SIS).
• Participation in basic and / or detailed ICSS engineering studies.
• Follow-up of internal and / or external interfaces.

Connaissances

Knowledge of Control & Safety Systems specificities

Knowledge of Offshore / Onshore ICSS know-how

What kind of structure will you BE joining as a Control & Safety System Engineer?

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our major clients in Energy sector for a Control & Safety System Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Preparation / review of technical specifications (DCS / SIS)
• Preparation / review of control system architectures (ICSS)
• Participation in basic and / or detailed ICSS engineering studies
• Follow-up of internal and / or external interfaces
• Participation in validation activities related to the installation aspects of control, safety, fire and gas systems (cabinet quantities, typical loops, etc.)
• Preparation of functional specifications: functional analysis, control narrative, cause & effect matrices, logic diagrams
• Participation in FATs

Qualifications / Skills

• Knowledge of Control & Safety Systems specificities in Oil & Gas
• Knowledge of Offshore / Onshore ICSS know-how, Network
• Knowledge of processes and / or F&G rules encountered in Oil & Gas
• Work with internal (engineering disciplines) and / or external (partners, subcontractors, vendors) interfaces
• Knowledge of installation / validation aspects of ICSS systems
• Knowledge of LNG processes
• Knowledge of applicable standards ISA 5.1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6
• Knowledge of applicable standards IEC 61511 / 62443 and possibly IEC 61511 Certification (TÜV - QUALI-SIL)
• Fluent in English
