Orchestrade - Capital Markets Senior Business Analyst – Middle and Back Office

Description

As a Senior Business Analyst focusing on Middle and Back Office in our Capital Markets product team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients using our modern, cross-asset trading and risk platform - trusted by some of the world’s leading banks, hedge funds, and energy & commodity trading firms. The Orchestrade product team is at the heart of solving the complex challenges faced by market participants.

In this role, you’ll play a key role in building seamless middle and back-office capabilities, from trade matching and confirmations to payments and accounting. Collaborate with clients and engineers to design robust and intuitive solutions.

Our platform is API-enabled, cloud-ready, and designed to deliver best-in-class trade booking, real-time P&L and explain, risk analytics, lifecycle management, confirmations, and reconciliations - across a wide range of instruments and asset classes.

What You’ll Do

• Translate the product vision into actionable specifications and prototypes for lifecycle and operational workflows : real-time execution tracking, event-based workflows, and automated reporting.
• Partner with clients and stakeholders to refine needs and deliver high-impact features.
• Define detailed use cases for QA, documentation and implementation teams.
• Support go-live and training efforts with client-facing presentations and internal enablement.
• Provide guidance and support to other teams : Sales and Sales engineers, Implementation consultants and Support analysts.

What You Bring

• 5+ years in capital markets or financial software as a Business Analyst or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in trade lifecycle processes and post-trade data formats : SWIFT (ISO 20022), FpML, FIX …
• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or related technical field.
• A builder’s mindset—analytical, client-focused, and always improving.
• Passion for delivering reliable, scalable tools that underpin global financial operations.
