Grow DELMIA's Machining and Additive Manufacturing business across all Dassault Systèmes channels, with a focus on large customers. Lead pre-sales activities such as demos, RFP responses, POCs, workshops, and customer coaching.
Support and enable the DS and partner ecosystem on DELMIA Fabrication through webinars and training.
Share best practices via community posts and training materials.
Understand market needs and trends in Machining and Fabrication. Communicate customer feedback to DELMIA R&D and document key requests.
Contribute to the DELMIA Machining Initiative by shaping strategy, marketing, partner relations, and best practices.
Promote the full DELMIA and 3DEXPERIENCE offering—including Process Engineering, Virtual Twin, Robotics, Ergonomics, Flow Simulation, and Execution.
As a CAM Application Engineer, help customers unlock value by applying the Value Engagement framework and guiding business transformation using 3DEXPERIENCE Industry Processes.
Role Description & Responsibilities
Part of an international team as a technical expert in the DELMIA solution for Machining (Milling, Turning, Mill-Turn, etc.) and Additive Manufacturing (Powder Bed, Material Deposition, etc.), supporting our sales channels and customers worldwide across industries like Aerospace, Automotive, etc.
Expand your expertise to other DELMIA topics such as Process Engineering for Fabrication, Work Instructions, Composites, Execution, and eventually the full DELMIA portfolio.
Pre-sales activities:
• Understand customer needs and challenges
• Prepare and deliver presentations and live demonstrations
• Respond to RFPs
• Ensure successful Proof of Concepts (POCs)
• Support marketing events and initiatives.
Post-sales activities:
• Coach and support the Services team to ensure a successful go-live
• Train and enable our partners and resellers
• Prepare and conduct training sessions
• Define best practices in coordination with our R&D team
• Support our partners throughout the process
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field OR comparable practical shop floor experience.
• 5+ years of experience with CAM solutions, CNC machining, or additive manufacturing processes with practical shop floor experience.
• Practical knowledge of DELMIA Machining or comparable solutions (, Siemens NX CAM, Mastercam, CATIA V5 Machining, hyperMILL, etc..)
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience delivering technical demonstrations and training sessions
• Ability to travel internationally as required (20%)
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
• Proven ability to learn and grow.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus (, French, German, Swedish, etc..).
