A leading contract research organization in France is seeking a Business Development professional to execute growth strategies and develop new accounts in the drug discovery services sector. The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, and relevant industry experience. With responsibilities spanning from identifying prospects to supporting proposal writing, this position demands a self-starter who excels in a collaborative environment.
Execute Business Development plans in close coordination with WuXi TIDES leadership leading to the identification, penetration, and growth of business and accounts in the designated European region. This position is responsible for working as part of the business development team supporting activities in Europe to generate revenue with prospective and existing clients for WuXi TIDES, a WuXi AppTec company, in particular to support the growth of the rapidly growing oligonucleotideand peptide (O&P) Contract Research, Development and Manufacture (CDMO) business
This position is primarily responsible for business development of new accounts but will also include developing business from existing accounts.
This position works closely with technical teams, other BD team members, European Business Development Management, Marketing, PR, Project Management, and the senior WuXi TIDES management team in China to develop and execute the most effective strategy to increase services, together with strategic business development in an assigned area of geographic responsibility.
