ESSCA’s Finance, Accounting and Management Control (FAMC) Academic Department is seeking an Assistant or an Associate Professor of Financefor its Paris campus .
Candidates must hold a PhD in the field of Finance, have a specialization in Market Risk, and have a proven experience in higher education.
Candidates must be fluent in French (i.e., between Intermediate and Upper intermediate level, which corresponds to a level between B1/B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), and be able to teach in English to a variety of audiences (undergraduates, graduates, and executives).
The successful candidate will be part of the FAMC Academic Department, which deploys multi-campus courses in finance and has the following main research topics: Accounting, Management Control, Auditing, Corporate Finance, Financial markets, Investment Banking, Risk Management, Sustainable Finance.
The FAMC research topics are encompassed within the larger theme of Responsible Leadership, in accordance with the ESSCA expertise in this domain.
Candidates must have a high potential or a significant record of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals, preferably in areas consistent with the specializations of current faculty. He/she must be a team player with good communication skills.
Prior corporate experience would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be hired under a French work contract and will have frequent teaching assignments on the Luxembourg campus . These assignments will be organized in compliance with French labor law regarding business trips abroad.
