A progressive healthcare organization in Spain is looking for interns in Communication and Information Sciences, Engineering, and Technology. Responsibilities include developing applications, data analytics, and risk management. Interns will receive guidance from experienced professionals and have opportunities for personal and academic growth. Positions are available throughout the year for 1 to 12 months.

Communication and Information Sciences, Engineering and/or Technology, Mathematics and/or Informatics

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with development team and other IT staff to set specifications for new applications
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
• Develop new websites, apps and existing websites
• Web marketing
• Update our websites, apps, create new sections
• Improve the web and app security and plugins
• Design, develop and test mobile applications for the iOS and Android platform
• Participate in full mobile application development life cycle
• Work to keep informed on the latest trends, technologies and best practices in mobile software development
• Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Design printed circuit boards (PCB) to meet customers\' quality and delivery requirements
• Help to further refine workflow processes to enhance the product development process
• Build CMF strategies that connect social/target consumer lifestyle trends with material technologies and product concepts
• Drive ideation sessions, multi-functional brainstorms, and research activities on users, trends, materials, and processes that may be applied towards development of future products
• Create visual and functional prototypes for research and internal review
• Support cost reduction while maintaining design intent and user experience
• Work with design engineers directly on CAD models to configure/package engineering concepts into the most compelling products in the industry

Data Science Management

• Gathering and preparing relevant data to use in analytics applications
• Using various types of analytics tools to detect patterns, trends and relationships in data sets
• Developing statistical and predictive models to run against the data sets
• Conduct risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends
• Establish policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organization\'s services and departments
• Review and assess risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements

Risk Management (Safety at the workplace)

• Creating business continuity plans to limit risks, data collection at the workplace
• Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company
• Making an assessment of classifications of hazards, harms and efforts at work and in connection with work implementing health and safety
• Preparation of risk assessment, application of methods and methods
