A European underwriting firm is seeking talented individuals to join its expanding French underwriting team based in Zaragoza, Spain. This role involves underwriting complex Warranty & Indemnity, tax, title, and contingent risk policies for cross-border M&A transactions. Ideal candidates will possess strong knowledge of French M&A transactions and excellent communication skills. Underwriting Opportunities - French Market | Acquinex

Acquinex is expanding its European underwriting platform and building a dedicated team focused on the French market. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, entrepreneurial business at a pivotal stage of its European growth. We are seeking talented individuals at all levels, from Junior Underwriters to Senior Underwriters, to play a key role in underwriting complex Warranty & Indemnity (W&I), tax, title and contingent risk policies across French and cross-border M&A transactions. You will work closely with brokers, legal advisors, and corporate clients to deliver bespoke insurance solutions that support deal execution and mitigate risk.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong understanding of French M&A transactions, corporate reorganisations, or tax structuring.
• Experience in analysing risk, drafting policy documentation, or managing deal processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Fluency in French and English (additional European languages are a plus).

A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a fast‑paced, cross‑border environment. We are also open to hearing from professionals who are not currently looking to move, but would like to stay connected as our French underwriting team continues to grow.

We are flexible on location; these roles can be based anywhere within Continental Europe, but ideally within one of our existing European entities such as Spain, the Netherlands, or the Benelux region.
