Formación

TK2d Patient Journey Lead (Iberia)

We are looking for a proactive, scientifically proficient, and empathetic TK2d Patient Journey Lead to join our Rare & Epilepsy Organization team, based in Madrid, Spain.

About the role

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our innovative treatment reaches the patients who need it most, positively impacting the lives of those suffering from TK2d. Reporting directly to the EU TK2d Head and collaborating with a cross‑functional team, you will support the identification, proper diagnosis, and treatment for TK2d patients.

Who you’ll work with

You will be working in a team that is dedicated to creating a unique patient experience. This includes partnering with healthcare stakeholders such as neuropediatricians, neuromuscular specialists, geneticists, nurses, and pharmacists, as well as interacting with patient groups to raise awareness and educate on this disease.

What you’ll do
  • Partner with healthcare stakeholders to ensure TK2d patients are diagnosed and receive appropriate treatment.
  • Execute disease awareness and educational programs.
  • Establish referral programs to facilitate patient access to centres of excellence.
  • Advocate for TK2d inclusion in mitochondrial and neuromuscular panels.
  • Map patient journeys to understand pain points and how to mitigate them.
  • Interact with patient associations for awareness and educational initiatives.
  • Act as the local point of contact for implementing approved managed access programmes.
  • Help healthcare providers navigate the ecosystem to secure funding for patients.
  • Ensure smooth transition from clinical trials and managed access programmes to continuous treatment.
  • Educate healthcare providers and payors on the safe use of the available treatment.
  • Support patients through centrally developed patient support programmes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or healthcare; Master’s preferred.
  • University degree in medicine, pharmacy, or natural sciences.
