A global healthcare company in Spain is seeking a skilled Medical Affairs Leader to manage a team in facilitating the Medical Affairs strategy for diabetes and obesity. This role involves developing strategic plans, leading cross-functional teams, and building relationships with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care. Candidates should have strong leadership skills, experience in Medical Affairs, and proficiency in Spanish and English. Location: Málaga, Sevilla or Córdoba preferred. Madrid could be considered.

Reporting to our Cardiometabolic Medical Affairs Director, you will facilitate the in-field execution of the Medical Affairs strategy to position Novo Nordisk as the preferred partner in Diabetes and Obesity for Health Care Professionals. You will play a key role in fostering the cross-functional collaboration in the field contributing to company success and making an impact on patients’ lives.
But you won’t do it alone… you will lead, manage, and develop an outstanding team of 6 Regional Medical Advisors, and you will be fully aligned and connected with the other field team to define the best implementation and best practices.

The Field Medical Affairs team within the Medical Affairs Department at Novo Nordisk Spain is dedicated to advancing the company’s mission of improving the lives of people with chronic diseases by providing healthcare professionals with the latest scientific information and insights on Novo Nordisk's innovative therapies. They engage with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers to enhance understanding and facilitate discussions that lead to better patient management and health outcomes. By gathering valuable field insights, the team informs internal stakeholders about evolving medical needs, ensuring that Novo Nordisk's offerings align with the needs of healthcare professionals and patients alike.
Strong leadership and collaborative skills are needed. You thrive in fast-paced environment being able to manage competing priorities and make decisions autonomously. Candidates should also excel in stakeholder management at very different levels.
