Smadex is a cutting‑edge ad‑tech company that handles more than 4.5 million ad requests per second with a response time under 100ms. We process several terabytes of data daily to make our real‑time components smarter. This time we're looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and help us keep our platform in motion.

This is a full‑time position (40 hours per week) with hybrid model based in Barcelona.

What We Are Looking For

In this role, you will get hands‑on experience by:

• Building a cloud‑based platform using modern technologies.
• Collaborating with highly‑skilled peers in a fast‑paced environment.
• Contributing to technical and architectural decisions.
• Participating in code reviews.

What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)

• You’re an engineering or master’s degree student.
• You’re available to start immediately and work full‑time (40 hours per week).
• You are self‑motivated, eager to learn, and have excellent communication skills in English.
• Bonus points:
  • Basic Linux skills and comfort working with a terminal.
  • Experience with Java or Node.js. Don’t worry, you’ll learn everything else you need!
• Please note: We do NOT provide VISA sponsorship. Candidates without a legal permit to work in Spain will not be considered.
