100% remote.

With its secure IoT platform, roclub makes it possible to control and service medical devices remotely, bringing together healthcare providers and skilled professionals around the world to keep vital systems running, wherever and whenever they’re needed.

Responsibilities

• You design, build, and maintain scalable Golang backend services and create gRPC and REST APIs for connecting medical devices.
• You implement event‑driven architectures using Kafka and MQTT and ensure secure authentication via OAuth / OIDC.
• You optimise containerised workloads with Docker and deploy and manage services on AWS and Kubernetes.
• You design and maintain databases (PostgreSQL, RethinkDB, InfluxDB) and implement monitoring to ensure reliability and performance.
• You integrate and support medical devices, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with strong Golang skills and modern Go features.
• Hands‑on experience with APIs, event streaming, messaging systems, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, and network protocols (TCP / UDP, WebRTC).
• Comfortable with databases, advanced Git workflows, and building secure, maintainable systems.
• Fluent English skills, ideally also German.
