SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT – UNBOX SPAIN & PORTUGAL

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Unbox Spain is a boutique luxury travel DMC that specializes in experiential and cultural trips for

discerning high-end travelers. We cater almost exclusively to the US market.

We pride ourselves on offering exclusive access to some of the most fascinating places and

people, working with top-tier hotels, expert guides, and unique collaborators. As part of our

growth, we are expanding into Portugal and are looking for a seasoned, motivated, and

entrepreneurial Senior Travel Consultant to lead our entry into this market.

This person will be responsible for establishing and developing our presence in Portugal — from

sourcing and managing suppliers to selling and executing unique travel experiences throughout

the country. You'll work closely with the Madrid office while building and anchoring operations

locally in Portugal.

Candidates must be legally able to work in Portugal and willing to be based in Madrid at first and

then move to Portugal in approx 12 months.

YOUR FUNCTIONS

• Design, lead, and oversee the creation of Unbox Portugal :
• Conduct market analysis and design the supplier landscape (hotels, guides, experts,

experiences and transportation providers).

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships in Portugal.
• Create bespoke itineraries throughout Portugal, ensuring cultural depth and unique

experiences.

• Handle end-to-end trip management from initial client contact through execution and

follow-up.

• Sell and pitch trips to high-end international clients, especially from the US market.
• Represent Unbox Spain & Portugal with excellence, aligned with the brand's standards of

service, creativity, and quality.

• Collaborate with the Spanish team to integrate Portugal itineraries into broader Iberian travel

packages.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree is a plus).
• Full professional fluency in English; fluency in Portuguese is essential. Spanish is a plus.
• Between 2 and 7 years of work experience, ideally in the luxury travel or hospitality industry. Experience

building operations or launching a new market is highly valued.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with high levels of accountability.
