A leading semiconductor company in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the development of HW accelerators for AI applications. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in HW-SW design and architecture, with expertise in MCUs, memory controllers, and various CPU architectures. A strong background in simulation, ML frameworks, and DSP algorithms is essential. Applicants must possess EU working rights, as no sponsorship is available.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for new HW accelerators for AI applications.

Conocimientos

Complex HW-SW design & architecture

Deep understanding of MCUs Subsystems

HW-SW co-design

Deep knowledge of architectures (VPU/NPU/GPU/CPU/TPU)

Simulation/modelling (System C/TLM/UML)

ML frameworks (Tensorflow/PyTorch/Python)

DSP algorithms (FIR/IIR filters, FFT)

IP design and system architecture

Low-power performance optimization

Educación

BSc/MSc/PhD in Micro-electronics, physics, or similar

Working for a cutting-edge semiconductor company, I am looking to recruit a Senior Architect, to be responsible for new HW accelerators for AI applications.

Salary available can be circa €100k+ (dependent on experience)

Key skills / requirements :

• BSc / MSc / PhD in Micro-electronics, physics, or similar field
• 10+ years' experience in complex HW-SW design & architecture
• Deep understanding of MCUs Subsystems, Memory Controllers, and memory architectures (e.g., SRAM, DDR, ROM, eFuse, HBM)
• HW-SW co-design
• Deep knowledge of any; VPU / NPU / GPU / CPU / TPU architecture
• Vector / Matrix / Scaler units
• simulation / modelling - System C / TLM / UML
• ML frameworks - Tensorflow / PyTorch / Python or similar
• DSP algorithms - FIR / IIR filters or FFT...
• IP design, system design, system architecture
• low-power, performance and optimisation
