Senior Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Work together in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps-centric model
2. Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor your team's applications; participate in pull request reviews
3. Understand business needs by collaborating with colleagues across different divisions of our client
4. Participate in planning and feature refinement sessions with your team
5. Work with Solution Architects to design software solutions aligned with Julius Baer's architecture vision
6. Contribute to our Software Engineering communities by sharing knowledge and helping others
7. Deliver high-quality code in accordance with client guidelines and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in backend and frontend software engineering, particularly with Java, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript
• Experience with industry standards such as TDD and BDD
• Understanding of DevOps concepts like CI/CD and automated testing
• Technical stack includes Java, Spring Boot, SOA, RESTful services, SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres), React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kubernetes (PKS), Virtual Machines, Kafka, Avro, Open API, UML
• Knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD and Kubernetes
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and technological evolution
• Pragmatic, proactive, open-minded, with an entrepreneurial approach
• Good communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders
