• You have at least 6 years of experience in audit (preferably Big4) or corporate finance.
• You possess strong technical knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and Taxes.
• You have a self-starter mentality and are open-minded.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Financial Controller in improving financial planning and reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPIs, and variance analyses.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in monthly and annual closing processes.
• Maintain general ledger reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
• Contribute to automation and process optimization within finance.

Job requirements

As a Senior Finance Specialist (Accounting & Control) you will play a hybrid role bridging management control and accounting operations. Your mission is to ensure the accuracy, transparency and reliability of financial information while actively contributing to the improvement of internal processes. You will act as a key link between accounting and business insight, supporting informed decision‑making and driving operational efficiency across the organization.

Your responsibilities are :

Support the Financial Controller in improving financial planning and reporting processes.

Prepare and analyse financial reports, KPIs and variance analyses to support business decisions.

Take an active role in monthly and annual closing processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and standards.

Prepare and maintain general ledger reconciliations, journal entries and supporting documentation as needed.

Support audit processes coordinating with internal and external auditors.

Contribute to automation, standardisation and process optimisation within the finance function.

Ensure strong communication and alignment between accounting controlling and operational teams.

Most importantly you have a business‑oriented mindset and the ability to translate complex financial issues into actionable insights. To be successful within Cefetra it is important to have a self‑starter mentality, to be open‑minded and curious. You will also be able to identify with the following requirements:

You will have at least 6 years experience in audit (preferably Big4) or corporate finance within technically demanding environments.

You have a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.

You have strong technical knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and Taxes.

You will have strong process analysis skills and a focus on continuous improvement.

You are fluent in both Spanish and English, both verbally and in writing. You’ll need to use both languages on a daily basis.
