A leading real estate development company located in Madrid is seeking a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in finance, a degree in Business Management, and strong skills in SAP and Excel. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and supporting audits, while working in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• At least 4 years of qualified experience in similar positions.
• Experience in the Real Estate sector or audit firm is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare quarterly accounting closing for companies.
• Ensure quality in Financial Statements on IFRS and Statutory basis.
• Perform balance reconciliation.
• Calculate and record accounting provisions.
• Analyze Actuals vs. Budget deviations.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Prepare Statutory Annual Accounts.

We are currently looking for our:

Senior Accountant – (M / F / NB)

Permanent Contract - Madrid

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly (operational & financial) accounting closing for our companies.
• Keep quality in our Financial Statements, Balance and P&L on IFRS and Statutory point of view.
• Balance reconciliation.
• Calculation and recording of accounting provisions (income, expenses) related with Real Estate and RE Management companies.
• Analysis of Actuals vs. Budget and Forecast deviations.
• Support internal and external audit for all financial matters.
• Prepare Statutory Annual Accounts.

Qualifications

• You have a bachelor\'s degree in Business Management or related field.
• You have a strong financial and accounting background, with deep knowledge on financial and accounting principals, having at least 4 years of qualified experience in similar positions.
• You are rigorous and proactive, have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• You possess outstanding interpersonal skills and strong team collaboration qualities.
• You have strong SAP knowledge (especially FI module).
• You are proficient with Excel, Office Tools, and other financial reporting tools.
• You thrive in agile environments and can work in project mode.
• You are fluent English & Spanish (proficiency level).
• Experience in the Real Estate sector or audit firm is a plus.
