The University of Navarra (UNAV) is a non‑profit private university founded in 1952 based in Pamplona, Spain. It confers 37 official degrees (14 are double degree) and administers 43 master’s programs, including 19 doctoral programs, through 16 faculties and Schools, 2 superior colleges, the IESE Business School and its 5 comprehensive Research Centres.

The research centre in Nutrition is an organ of basic–applied research of the University of Navarra, attached to the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition. It carries out a research of excellence in topics related to Nutrition and Health, specifically with the problems of obesity.

It transfers to the industry, especially the food and pharmaceutical industry, the results of the research in order to improve its productivity and support the development of new food products. In addition, it offers industry services related to the areas of nutrition, dietetics, and food in general.
